Description

Develops construction capacity to build more homes, to review building codes, design plans, and review building schedules. Responsible for assisting the organization and the Construction Manager in the planning, designing and scheduling of simple, decent, affordable homes in the 13 communities Waterville Area Habitat for Humanity (WAHFH)  serves. This includes reviewing architectural drawings, researching new building techniques and products with energy efficiency in mind and developing a build schedule.  The committee is also responsible for working closely with the Volunteer Committee to recruit and retain long term volunteers (crew leaders) as well as identifying new volunteer groups to target.
